Hong Kong, China delegation clinches four more medals at 19th Asian Games Hangzhou

2nd October 2023 – (Hong Kong) The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, expressed his congratulations today to the Hong Kong, China Delegation for their outstanding performance at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou (Asian Games), securing four additional medals.

Mr Yeung commended the indomitable spirit of the Hong Kong, China Delegation members, who have consistently excelled in various events at the Asian Games. He emphasized the full support of the government in encouraging athletes to continue their pursuit of excellent results.

With the latest medal achievements, the Hong Kong, China Delegation has amassed a total of 44 medals at the Asian Games, comprising six golds, 15 silvers, and 23 bronzes. The following is the updated list of medals won after the golf events on 1st October and today:

Bronze Medal:

  • Xiangqi: Mixed Team – Wong Hok-him, Tony Fung, Lam Ka-yan, Chan Chun-kit
  • Triathlon: Mixed Relay – Bailee Briana Brown, Hall Charlotte Emily, Hardcastle Jason Ng Tai-long, Wong Tsz-to
  • Table Tennis: Men’s Singles – Wong Chun-ting
  • Athletics: Women’s Long Jump – Yue Nga-yan
