7th September 2022 – (Hong Kong) 7th September 2022 – (Hong Kong) The Central Venue Management and HK Camp will hold the “Hong Kong Camping Festival” on 18th September at Central Harbourfront Event Space.
With more and more Hongkongers taking an interest in hiking and wild camping, the first ever Hong Kong camping culture festival is held to introduce camping and outdoor equipment markets that promote eco-friendly barter economy concepts, local camping culture, as well as local outings and outdoor activities to foster no-trace concepts in the countryside. There is also a camping supplies market, camping-in-car culture gatherings, as well as music or related sharing sessions.
As the first large-scale camping event in Hong Kong, citizens can enter the venue for free on the day, and bring personal camping equipment such as tents to experience camping in the city. According to the event organiser, the opening hours of the event will be from 12pm to 9pm.
There will also be unique tents from multiple brands, as well as more than a dozen camping vehicles and car-parking vehicles.
