1st October 2023 – (Hong Kong) The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Kevin Yeung, extended his congratulations today to Taichi Kho, a golf athlete, for securing a gold medal in the men’s individual golf event at the 19th Asian Games held in Hangzhou. This remarkable achievement marks the sixth gold medal won by the Hong Kong, China Delegation in this edition of the Asian Games.
Mr. Yeung expressed his admiration for Taichi Kho’s exceptional performance, stating, “Taichi Kho demonstrated immense dedication and skill, leading him to claim the gold medal and once again bringing glory to the Hong Kong, China Delegation. We are truly grateful for his outstanding achievement.”
The Hong Kong, China Delegation has amassed a total of 40 medals thus far in the Asian Games, including six golds, 15 silvers, and 19 bronzes. Today’s golf events contributed to this remarkable tally, with the following medals awarded:
