23rd February 2024 – (Hong Kong) 73-year-old Hong Kong actor, Lee Lung-kei, visited his 36-year-old fiancée, Chris Wang, at the Tai Lam Centre for Women. Chris Wang is currently detained, awaiting trial on charges related to overstaying her visa and using fraudulent documents.

Lee Lung-kei arrived at the detention centre earlier this morning, where a swarm of media outlets eagerly awaited his presence. Despite the overwhelming attention, the veteran actor took a moment to address the reporters. When asked about his emotions, he politely responded, “Better than the past few days.” When probed about his sleep, Lee Lung-kei revealed, “I slept okay last night, for about 4 to 5 hours.” When questioned further about his sleeping habits, he admitted, “Yes, I slept until this morning. I brought some daily necessities and a sketchbook for Chris. I thought it would be good for her to have some familiar items to maintain a sense of her previous life. She used to apply skincare and lip balm regularly, but those items are not available in the facility. I hope this can help alleviate her feelings of depression.” It was revealed that the choice to bring these items was Lee Lung-kei’s personal decision, as he wanted to assist Chris in every possible way during this difficult time. He concluded, “We will talk more later. I am preparing to enter now.”
