“Hon Bo Sun”, man allegedly “died” during the incident at Prince Edward MTR Station last year flees to U.K. and speaks on social media


31st August 2020 – (Hong Kong) On the first anniversary of the “Prince Edward Station 31st August incident, a person with the pseudonym “Hon Bo Sun” was allegedly missing or died at Prince Edward MTR Station on that day. Hon whose real surname was Wong, posted a short video on the Internet early this morning (31st), claiming that he had been charged with 8 crimes by the police. He acted low-key in the past year and has now fled overseas. He has severed contact with his family and friends.

According to reports, he is in the UK seeking political asylum. He uploaded a two-minute video on Facebook at about 12am this morning, explaining that he had fled overseas. In the video, Wong admitted that he was the person allegedly missing during the Prince Edward Station incident in the past year.
