17th January 2020 – (Hong Kong) Meter Chen, a creative local chef in high quality but affordable Japanese cuisine recently opened Kintaro Lab in Tai Kok Tsui which specialises in flat udon which resembles a piece of white cloth. The plus-size udon is the first of its kind in Hong Kong and it’s specially created by Meter Chen after many trials and errors. There are three types of soup base to go with the udon i.e. hot soup, Tsukemen-style soup and cold udon soup. You can choose from fish, duck, plum, tempura and Japanese yam to go with your udon. The most expensive option costs only around HK$115 per serving.

Go early to avoid disappointment as there are only limited servings per day.
