HK$80m Mark Six Chinese New Year Snowball draw to be held tomorrow, “2” and “12” were drawn twice during the 3 previous Year of Rabbit special draws

25th January 2023 – (Hong Kong) The Mark Six Chinese New Year Snowball draw will be held tomorrow (26th January). As the draw will carry a snowball of $60 million, it is estimated that the First Division Prize Fund for a single $10 winning unit could reach $80 million if only one bet wins. The draw originally scheduled for last Sunday (22nd) was not held.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club revealed that the Chinese New Year Snowball draw has a special relationship with the number 2. In the three previous Chinese New Year Snowball draw during the Year of the Rabbit, two numbers i.e. 2 and 12 were drawn twice, they are labelled as the lucky numbers of the Year of the Rabbit. The cut-off time for all off-site betting branches, telephone betting and digital platforms is 9.15pm tomorrow night.

The Jockey Club disclosed earlier that since 1986, the Chinese New Year Snowball draw has been held 35 times. Among them, “29” and “11” have been drawn 10 times and 9 times respectively while the numbers “3”, “5”, “19” and “37” have also been drawn 8 times.
