HK Space Museum confirms that no damage was done to the dome after ‘laser’ light show by protesters

23rd August 2019 – (Hong Kong) After 5 off-duty plain clothes police officers arrested Hong Kong Baptist University Students’ Union leader, Fong for possession of 10 laser pointers near Apliu Street in Sham Shui Po on 6th August, civilians gathered at the Hong Kong Space Museum to flash laser pointers at the dome. Many civilians sent emails to ask the management of Space Museum after the ‘event’ and ask if there was any damage sustained by the outer wall.

Spokesperson for the space museum confirmed that there was no property damage resulted by the laser pointers upon inspection the next day.
