13th June 2022 – (Hong Kong) Based on Global Median Speeds April 2022, the latest rankings from Ookla, a Seattle-based internet access performance metrics company, suggest Hong Kong was in 4th place for fixed broadband speed in April with an average download speed of 181.7 megabits per second (Mbps). Singapore is in no.1 spot with 207.61 Mbps while China ranks no.6 with 162.74 Mbps. Macao ranks no.7 with 158.58 Mbps.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong moved up one spot to 38th place in terms of mobile download speed wit 48.82 Mbps.
