Their first son, Lucas, was born in 2007, followed by their second son, Quintus, in 2010. However, the couple divorced in 2011. In 2018, Cecilia gave birth to her third son, Marcus, but she has never disclosed the identity of his biological father. Recent rumours circulating online suggest that Marcus’s father is mainland Chinese tycoon Donghai Sun. These rumours have also sparked discussions about a custody battle between Sun and Cecilia. In response, Donghai Sun has issued a statement to dispel these rumours.
Back in 2015, Cecilia Cheung was linked to Donghai Sun in tabloid gossip, although neither party ever acknowledged the relationship. However, recent claims of a custody dispute between the two have surfaced. On the 15th of this month, Sun released a statement through his lawyers, stating that he has initiated legal proceedings against the individuals spreading defamatory remarks, affirming his intention to hold them legally accountable. The necessary legal formalities, including notarisation and filing, have been completed, and the case will now proceed to court for further examination.
