23rd February 2024 – (Amsterdam) Simon Yam, the 68-year-old veteran actor known for his illustrious career spanning 48 years, has left an indelible mark in the entertainment industry. One of his iconic roles includes portraying “Chiang Tin-Sung” in the “Young and Dangerous” film series. Recently, Yam revisited the infamous “crime scene” from the series in the Netherlands, causing concern among netizens.

In the “Young and Dangerous” series, Simon Yam’s character, the triad leader “Chiang Tin-Sung,” met a tragic end in a shooting scene set in the Netherlands. This scene has become a classic in the hearts of many fans. During his recent visit to the Netherlands, Yam made a stop at the “crime scene” and left his footprints. The photo he shared garnered humorous comments from fans who had watched the “Young and Dangerous” series, with remarks like “Be careful, Chiang Tin-Sung,” “Chiang Tin-Sung, someone asked you for the time, please don’t answer!” and “Watch out for those handsome guys on roller skates.”

In the photo, Simon Yam can be seen wearing black sunglasses, standing in front of the “Hoi Sing Restaurant.” He tagged the megastar Jay Chou in the caption, asking, “I’m at the hotel in the Netherlands, will you come?” This seemingly casual invitation hides an interesting backstory. Back in 2019, Jay Chou had visited the Netherlands and took a photo at the same location, where he also tagged Simon Yam. It appears that Yam hasn’t forgotten the invitation from five years ago and promptly extended an invitation to Jay Chou upon his arrival in the Netherlands.
