3rd July 2022 – (Hong Kong) From 24th June to 30th October, 2022, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum will display a giant blue container and a historical “Tai Fei” (high-powered speedboat used by smugglers) in the outdoor exhibition area (next to the waterfront opposite the Central Ferris Wheel). After the Tai Fei was intercepted and confiscated in 2000, it was converted into a high-speed vessel for training to combat rampant sea smuggling activities until it was “retired” in 2021.
