17th August 2026 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong stocks rebounded at the open, with the Hang Seng Index up 186 points at 25,303. Turnover reached HK$2.39 billion. The Hang Seng Tech Index gained 1.1 per cent to 4,761. Among major movers, JD.com (09618) rose more than 3 per cent, Lenovo (00992) advanced over 2 per cent, and SenseTime (00020) jumped 7 per cent after issuing a positive earnings alert.
