Halloween at Ocean Park this year is full of spooktacular experiential interactions and unlimited photo opportunities


27th September 2021 – (Hong Kong) Ocean Park Halloween Fest is making a spooky comeback to celebrate its 20th anniversary in a brand-new other-worldly approach. The park announced today (27th) that the Halloween Fest will come back in a “new format” this year. The former haunted house will be replaced by an open attraction, including the Forbidden Forrest treasure hunt, but the price will also be higher this year. It is different from an ordinary ticket that can be used to visit the facilities in the park and the Halloween event. Visitors need to pay an additional HK$280 to purchase additional tickets this year to enter 3 designated attractions, together with ordinary admission tickets, for adults. The ticket price is HK$640. The spokesperson of the park pointed out that the new format will have interactive elements.

Old Hong Kong’s Murder Mysteries

Hungry visitors can dig into some of the gruesome sounding dishes before they continue with their adventures. They can opt for the Halloween Fest Set Menu at Ginger Grill at HK$380 per person. The spooky meal starts with the Thai Style Green Papaya Salad with OmniTuna and Guacamela with “eyes” watching you while you dig into the Seafood with Spicy and Sour Soup. For the main court, choose from either Rice Stick Noodles with Seafood or Charcoal Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Duck Liver with Herbs Butter that resembles macabre scarecrows and gooey frozen brains to overload your senses. Try the Pandan Coconut Rice Pudding as dessert.

Visitors can also try the Fresh prawn, mozzarella and Pesto Pizza topped with meatless crumble served in a pumpkin (HK$238) and Baked U.S. BBQ Pork Ribs accompanied with bean curd sheet filled with Ratatouille (HK$278) at Tuxedos Restaurant. Two more restaurants i.e. Aqua City Bakery and The Bayview Restaurant also offer Halloween themed cakes and desserts.
