24th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) In a bizarre incident on the Tsuen Wan Line of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) in Hong Kong, a half-naked man was found on board a train, with many speculating about the reasons behind his behaviour. The incident caused shock and concern among passengers and MTR staff, who were left to deal with the situation.
The incident was first reported by a netizen named Toby Lo, who shared a post on the “Hong Kong Emergency Accident Reporting and Discussion Group” on social media. According to the post, the man appeared to be middle-aged and physically fit, but seemed to be in a daze. He had taken off most of his clothes, leaving him with only a pair of shorts and one sock, while the rest of his clothes were scattered around the train carriage.
Passengers who witnessed the man’s behaviour were reportedly frightened and quickly moved away from him. MTR staff were called to deal with the situation, and after some negotiation with the man, he appeared to become slightly more aware of his surroundings. He glanced at his reflection on the glass window of the train carriage, and upon seeing his half-naked state, he hit himself on the forehead with his palm and sat down with a bewildered expression on his face.

Some suggested that he may have been under immense stress, while others believed that he may have been affected by the hot weather.
