5th February 2023 – (Hong Kong) A netizen shared a post on Facebook yesterday (4th), saying that they had dinner at a restaurant in Tai Wai and he was served with a half-cooked pork chop which he paid for HK$78. It could be seen from the picture that the outer layer of the pork chop had been fried until golden brown, but the flesh inside was still raw.
Raw meat can carry bacteria which cause food poisoning and, accordingly, eating undercooked pork or chicken may result in food poisoning. Some foods, like certain fish and seafood, can be enjoyed raw when prepared safely — though pork is definitely not one of these foods.
