9th May 2023 – (Beijing) According to the China Movie Data Information Network, the latest Marvel installment, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” maintained its position as the top-grossing film in China on Monday. The movie generated a total box office revenue of 24.81 million yuan, equivalent to approximately 3.58 million U.S. dollars, in a single day.
Following closely behind was the domestic road comedy “Godspeed,” which earned a daily income of 17.07 million yuan on Monday. Meanwhile, the “Born to Fly” movie, which is reminiscent of the classic film “Top Gun,” secured the third spot on the chart with a daily earning of 9.60 million yuan.
