Get ready for 10-min enhanced version of “A Symphony of Lights” and pyrotechnic display along Victoria Harbour on New Year’s Eve

30th December 2022 – (Hong Kong) Before midnight on this Saturday, a gigantic countdown clock will be displayed on the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre’s harbour-facing façade once again this year, bidding farewell to the past and welcoming the new.

Hong Kong will also welcome the new year with an enhanced version of “A Symphony of Lights”, which is 10 minutes long. As well as the colourfully lit Star Ferry fleet, buildings and landmarks along Victoria Harbour’s coastline will put on a pyrotechnic display with dancing laser beams and dancing lights.

Meanwhile, citizens can get ready for an exciting line-up of performances by internationally-acclaimed young pianist Niu Niu (Zhang Shengliang), Local taiko drumming group Gekko Taiko and Multiple-time world champion Hong Kong Rope Skipping Club.
