18th July 2021 – (Hong Kong) The Hong Kong Kart Club is organising the “2021 Hong Kong Karting Short-term Training Course” at King’s Park for several weekends. Participants can experience the speed and excitement of the kart racing FREE of charge, and they will receive a souvenir for completing the course. Children can also participate.
The first race was held at YMCA King’s Park Centenary Centre today and the next two sessions will be held on 31st July and 7th August.
It is fun, free of charge, and children can also participate. The race is guided by professional athletes and experts.
There are two tracks in the centre, which is divided into “Beginner Zone” and “Advanced Zone”. The maximum speed of the kart used in the Beginner Zone is only 8km/hr, which is suitable for children to experience for the first time. The route is simple and the track is relatively wide. The staff will instruct the participants to complete the route from the side. As for the “Advanced Zone”, the maximum speed of the kart used is 18km/hr, and the road is more variable and the track is relatively narrow.
The course is still open for registration for races on 31st July and 7th August but there are only about 30 places per session. If you want to experience it for yourself, hurry up and register.
