19th September 2023 – (Tokyo) In a concerning incident at a building construction site located in Tokyo’s Nihombashi district, at least 4 workers were left unconscious and in critical condition after sustaining injuries on Tuesday morning, as reported by the local fire department. One person sustained injuries but remained conscious.
According to the fire department, it is believed that a steel frame plummeted from the 8th floor of the building to the 4th floor, resulting in the severe injuries. Currently, the Metropolitan Police Department and other authorities are actively assessing the situation at the scene.
The construction site is situated in close proximity to the Yaesu exit of JR Tokyo Station, adding to the urgency and significance of the incident.
