1st June 2023 – (Hong Kong) An employer named Amy recently dismissed her 31-year-old foreign domestic helper named Aira and posted about it on a Facebook page today. In the post, Amy alleged that Aira was lazy and did not complete her work. According to Amy, when she asked Aira to work, the helper claimed to have already finished everything and even asked Amy to check the security camera footage to prove it. However, Amy claims that the footage showed that Aira had not done any work, and when confronted about it, Aira became confrontational and uncooperative.
She also expressed frustration that she would have to hire a part-time cook to take care of her needs, as she could no longer rely on Aira who behaved like a princess to do so.
