7th September 2019 – (Hong Kong) At around 8pm today, a floating corpse was spotted by passerby in the sea near North Point Pier. Police were notified before marine police and fireboat were deployed. Divers retrieved the male body and pronounced him dead. Police found his hands were tied and a backpack was found with 4 bricks on his body. There was another red rope tied to his waist.
Police have started investigating the case and they are trying to identify him and establish the cause of death.
