Flamengo clinches 2-0 victory over Corinthians in Brazil’s Serie A Championship


12th May 2024 – (Rio de Janeiro) Former Fiorentina striker Pedro and Lorran Lucas displayed their scoring prowess as Flamengo secured a commanding 2-0 home win against Corinthians in the Brazilian Serie A championship on Saturday.

Pedro showcased his finesse in the 22nd minute, calmly dispatching a well-placed shot into the bottom-right corner of the net. Shortly after the hour mark, Lorran extended Flamengo’s lead by expertly combining with Gerson before confidently slotting the ball past Corinthians’ goalkeeper Carlos Miguel.
