9th August 2026 – (Hong Kong) Music and excitement will take centre stage at Water World Ocean Park later this month, as the Asia Idol Fes — Splash Idol Carnival prepares to launch an energetic two-day poolside music event on 22nd and 23rd August 2026. The occasion, which blends the vibrant spirit of idol culture with the thrills of the park’s aquatic attractions, is set to deliver a memorable live music experience for both fans and families seeking summer entertainment.
A diverse roster of performers from across Asia is scheduled to appear, including renowned local idol groups alongside special guests travelling from Tokyo, Taipei, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The festivities will begin at 6.30pm on 22nd August with a major opening ceremony at Horizon Cove presented by Manulife, followed by high-energy performances from acts including IdG Sundae, IdG 2%, MaruZ and Yoru Epiphany from Hong Kong, as well as 心動AfterSchool, Magical Contract, and TPE48. The evening will conclude with DJ Delta T hosting a retro Cantopop set, aimed at bringing the day to a lively finish.
On 23rd August, guests will have opportunities for exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, with the day’s entertainment continuing with performances from HakuChuuMu, IdG Bubbles, MONOCHROME and Sin Tik Kei from Hong Kong, joined by ChumToto and Mofmofmo from Tokyo, and return engagements from other leading groups. Local DJs including DJ Una, Grace, 小蚊, and Miya are expected to maintain the tempo with lively pre-show sets.
Admission to the Splash Idol Carnival is complimentary with any valid day ticket to Water World, and for dedicated fans, a special two-day pass is available for HK$298, granting evening entry after 4.00pm on both event days.
