First glimpse of Water World Ocean Park which opens to public on 21st September

2nd September 2021 – (Hong Kong) The Water World Ocean Park, which has been postponed for 4 years, is finally scheduled to open on the 21st of this month. As a special invitation for Hongkongers to celebrate Water World’s grand opening with us, ticket prices start from as low as HK$320 for adults and HK$225 for children during the opening period. So book early to enjoy Water World at its best rates. 

In addition to the early bird discount of HK$320 for adult fare, the Water World Ocean Park announced today the launch of the “Splash Pass“. Visitors can purchase an additional HK$250 (Splash Pass Lite) to HK$350 (Splash Pass – Pro) to enjoy special rides priority access service, unlimited skip-the-queue enjoyment of rides. The Splash Pass is only valid on the date printed on the admission ticket and no change can be made on the ticket valid date.

If you would like rent a locker, the price ranges from HK$120 to HK$280 depending on the size. There are also small lockers with a rent of HK$20 in the venue.

The Water World covers an area of ​​approximately 700,000 square feet, with 27 indoor and outdoor attractions spread across five themed areas.

Water World also offers complimentary shuttle bus service between Ocean Park and Water World is available for Water World Admission Ticket holders. For car owners, Water World car parking fee is charged in daily rate and online parking space reservation procedure is simple and easy.

During the media preview today, our team members managed to try several exciting rides.

Major attractions include Surf Striker, a surfing-inspired attraction allows everyone to catch a wave without needing to go to the sea. Lazy Cruise where participants can swim or lazily float along in a river tube while enjoying different scenes of natural wonders. Length is around 740 metres and the water depth is 0.9m Adventurers can experience the journey in 4 different themed zones ranging from rainforest with spring rain to ‘cold’ ice cavern. Other attractions include Big Wave Bay where adventurers can relax and enjoy the amazing view with different man-made wave patterns. Skyhigh Falls which is located at the highest point of Water World, bringing riders an exhilarating freefall experience. Total length is 268m and the height is 29m. Adventurers will enjoy a thrilling ride as they twist and turn on a raft with a guaranteed adrenalin rush. Ride vehicle is a raft with 3-6 riders. The must-ride is Vortex! – a high-intensity raft ride incorporated with iconic bowl and massive half-pipe features.

There are also attractions including Riptide – an action river with a magnificent ocean view, Horizon Cove (Presented by Manulife) which is an indoor wave pool that presents a variety of wave patterns for every adventurer to splash in, Cyclone Spin/Tropical Twist – Two tube slides, where riders can twist and turn through its serpentine sections. Last but not least, adventurers must try the Rainbow Rush (Presented by HKT) – an eight-lane racer slide, allowing riders to experience high speeds and sudden movements in a racing atmosphere.  The eight-lane 17-metre slide carries the colours of a rainbow, and will take adventurers on a high-speed and exhilarating water race ride.  From a massive drop at the start of the slide, adventurers will twirl and tumble in a tube of darkness, before finally emerging into the open and be hit by the magnificent views of the Aberdeen Channel. Grab the racer mat tight, slide head-first, and challenge your friends for a race down to the finish line – let the digital timers at each lane be your judge.
