25th June 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 10.45am today, thick smoke billowed into the air at a construction site located near Olympic Avenue in Kowloon City, specifically the vicinity of Muk Lai Street. The smoke was suspected to originate from overheated machinery, prompting workers at the scene to swiftly report the incident and evacuate as a precautionary measure.

Firefighters arrived at the site, dispatching a team equipped with breathing apparatus to combat the situation. Within approximately twenty minutes, they successfully extinguished the smoke, ensuring no injuries occurred during the incident. The exact cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
