Fire breaks out in Tai Kok Tsui’s June Garden residence, one female resident suffers from smoke inhalation

11th April 2024 – (Hong Kong) At 6.07am today, a fire broke out in a high-rise unit of Block 228, June Garden, located at 28 Tung Chau Street in Tai Kok Tsui. Thick smoke billowed from the premises, prompting multiple residents to call emergency services. As a precautionary measure, some residents evacuated to the ground floor while the adjacent occupants of the affected unit, a man and a woman, used towels to cover their mouths and noses as they made their escape. Firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene, equipped with hoses and began their rescue operation.

During the incident, one female resident experienced discomfort due to smoke inhalation and required medical attention. An ambulance was called to provide the necessary treatment.
