24th September 2023 – (Hong Kong) At around 4.06am today, a unit located on the 7th floor of Block 2, Robinson Place at 70 Robinson Road in Mid-Levels, Hong Kong, caught fire. The occupants of the unit, consisting of a family of four, including two children, along with their domestic helper, managed to evacuate safely and sought temporary refuge in the building’s lobby. Firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene and deployed a team equipped with breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and preliminary investigations by the fire department suggest that a short circuit in a fan in the unit’s living room may have triggered the fire.
