23rd May 2023 – (Hong Kong) A cafe in Wan Chai, NINETYs, located at 222 Queen’s Road East, suddenly caught fire and produced a large amount of smoke around 8pm today, according to a report received by law enforcement authorities.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and quickly extinguished the flames after spraying water into the building. During the fire, the restaurant’s staff and customers had to evacuate to a safe place. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
