1st December 2021 – (Hong Kong) At around 7am today, a fire broke out at the Rehabilitation Home of drug abusers owned by Christian New Life Association in Yau Mei San Tsuen, Yuen Long.The fire spread rapidly. After receiving the report, the firefighters put out the flames within 30 minutes later.
However, the dormitory, dining hall, and computer room of the premises were burnt down. A batch of computers, audio-visual equipment, and teaching materials were destroyed. Fortunately, no one was injured. After preliminary investigation by the fire department, it is believed that a short circuit outside the computer room caused the fire.
