29th September 2023 – (Hong Kong) On Wednesday (27th), at around 11am, law enforcement authorities received a report regarding an incident at Shung Tak Catholic English College in Hung Shui Kiu, Yuen Long. It involved a 40-year-old female teacher and a 14-year-old boy, who allegedly got into a dispute over a trivial matter. During the altercation, the female teacher was physically assaulted, resulting in injuries to her face and eye. She was subsequently transported to the Caritas Medical Centre by ambulance for treatment.
Following preliminary investigations, law enforcement officers arrested the 14-year-old boy on suspicion of common assault. He was later granted bail and is required to report to the authorities in late October for further inquiries.
