Fearless Hongkongers fly to mainland China to visit relatives on Lunar New Year during outbreak


25th January 2020 – (Hong Kong) Many Hongkongers flooded the Hong Kong International Airport this morning to visit their relatives in mainland China despite the Wuhan pneumonia outbreak. Many passengers and airport staff were wearing medical face masks at the airport. Most family members prepared at least one box of medical face masks per person as a precautionary measure.

Some families took this opportunity to fly to Hokkaido and Bali were the outbreak was not so serious.
