19th September 2023 – (Hong Kong) Law enforcement officials received a report from the family of a 35-year-old man surnamed Ip at 8.44pm yesterday, alleging that the man had assaulted a dog at his residence in Hiu Fung House, Fung Wah Estate, located at 6 Fung Ha Rd, Tai Tam Gap, Chai Wan. Authorities arrived at the scene and categorized the incident as a case of cruel treatment of animals, although no arrests have been made thus far. The injured dog was found with injuries to its legs, and it has been handed over to relevant authorities for examination.
