Engineering vehicle catches fire at apron of Hong Kong International Airport


6th June 2019 – (Hong Kong) An engineering vehicle caught fire at the airport apron near the midfield concourse of Hong Kong International Airport yesterday at around 10.25pm.

Firemen received report and extinguished the flame moments later. The vehicle was severely burned but no one sustained injuries. The cause of fire was due to engine overheating.

The fire did not affect the operations of the airport.
