29th May 2024 – (Hong Kong) An elderly woman in her seventies was saved from a potential drowning incident during her morning swim at Clear Water Bay Second Beach today, at around 7.04am today. The woman found herself in distress, frantically waving her arms for help. Fortunately, a vigilant swimmer noticed her distress signals and swiftly came to her rescue, safely bringing her back to the shore.

According to reports, the woman briefly lost consciousness following the incident. Emergency medical services promptly arrived at the scene and transported her to the Tseung Kwan O Hospital for urgent medical treatment. She regained consciousness after receiving necessary care.
