2nd December 2019 – (Hong Kong) During police clearance at TST East MTR Station yesterday, an elderly woman was pushed down by a police officer. During the media briefing today, police responded to the incident and said that they were ‘physical action’ between the two parties and the police officer might have pushed her down unintentionally. Police urged civilians not to obstruct them in carrying out their duties.
At 5pm yesterday, around 2-3 people tried to obstruct the riot police officer in carrying out his duty. The police officer held a baton against his chest to prevent others from obstructing him.
