According to a posting by a nurse in a Hong Kong Facebook page, ‘funnyclinic’, an elderly woman took a used baby diaper belonging to her grandson to a local clinic recently to ask the nurse in charge to detect if there was any noticeable urine odour. She told the nurse that she didn’t want to consult the doctor but merely asked for her opinion.
She then proceeded to take out the baby diaper from her bag and insisted the nurse to smell it. The nurse was taken by surprise and explained to her that if the baby fell unwell, she should bring him to consult the doctor instead.
The elderly woman then responded by saying that she only wanted her to smell the diaper instead of tasting it. She even said that next time she would force the nurse to taste it to confirm that the urine was bad.
