26th June 2022 – (Hong Kong) At 10.45am this morning (26th), an elderly man was suspected of drowning in the sea at Repulse Bay Beach. A
A lifeguard on duty immediately jumped into the sea to rescue him and called the police for help. A number of lifeguards subsequently worked together to drag the victim back to shore, and at the same time used a defibrillator and cardiopulmonary resuscitation to perform first aid on the victim. The victim was in a coma at the time and was taken to hospital by ambulance. It is reported that the victim was suspected of having suffered a heart attack during exercise before falling unconscious in the water. His identity has yet to be determined.
