Elderly man collapses and dies in Tsuen Wan hourly hotel room after being rushed to hospital

21st April 2024 – (Hong Kong) A 73-year-old man, known only by his surname Hui, died following a collapse inside an hourly-rate hotel located at 207 Sha Tsui Road, Tsuen Wan. The incident, which occurred around 5 pm, prompted hotel staff to alert the police. Emergency responders were quick to the scene, where they found Mr. Hui unconscious. He was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite resuscitation efforts. Preliminary reports indicate Mr. Hui had a history of illness. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, with an autopsy pending to ascertain the exact cause.

Before passing out, he had a rendezvous in the room with his former Indonesian domestic helper.
