29th May 2025 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong singer Eason Chan recently recovered from COVID-19, resulting in the postponement of his concerts in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, originally scheduled for 16th, 17th and 18th May, which will now take place from 29th May.

During a performance on 23rd May, Eason energetically entertained the audience but unexpectedly coughed while singing. The crowd responded with applause and encouragement, and he quickly reassured them that he was fine. During the show, he humorously mentioned his expanding waistline, revealing that his wife, Hillary Tsui, has urged him to lose weight to prevent any marital issues, emphasising her keen interest in his fitness.

In a light-hearted moment, Eason shared a photo on social media of himself enjoying bubble tea, captioning it, “The south is indeed more laid-back.” His post drew comments from fans, with some calling him “adorable” while others cautioned him to take care of his health. Additionally, showcasing his comedic side, he joked about standing by a pillar outside a shop for a long time without anyone approaching him, demonstrating his relaxed attitude.
