4th June 2023 – (Hong Kong) A 57-year-old man surnamed Wong was driving a seven-seater car along Kam Sheung Road towards Yuen Long at around 1pm today. As he was passing Seasons Palace, he intended to turn right into a small road. However, a McLaren supercar driven by a 42-year-old man surnamed Chan behind him allegedly climbed onto the pavement and collided with the seven-seater car, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
The impact of the collision caused the front of the McLaren to detach from the car, with the back of the vehicle sustaining severe damage. Meanwhile, the front of the seven-seater car was also damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Eyewitness accounts and CCTV footage of the incident will be used to determine the sequence of events leading up to the collision.
