Disneyland Hong Kong is opening ‘Frozen’-Themed Park in 2021 complete with Elsa’ Castle

22nd February 2020 – (Hong Kong) Hong Kong Disneyland started its $1.4 billion expansion to include the replacement of Sleeping Beauty Castle, plus a Frozen land and Marvel land since 2018 and all will be completed in 2023. A similar ‘Frozen’ themed park will also open at Disneyland Paris in 2023.

A new “Frozen” themed area will be completed in 2021 where the kingdom of snow-capped Arendelle will come to life. Guests will enjoy two new attractions and be immersed in Arendelle with uniquely themed dining, shopping, and entertainment. This area will include multiple facades and backdrops, and looks a lot like the Arendelle port previously announced for Tokyo DisneySea.

Adventureland Show Place will invite guests to “Moana’s Village Festival” through a series of daytime entertainment offerings anchored around a lively stage show in a new interactive entertainment environment. Moana will also be meeting in Adventureland. This one looks like the true gem of the expansion, with beautiful environments to explore, and an actual mountain that could look beautiful against the backdrop of real mountains.
