Ding’s Club celebrates its first anniversary with new lunch and dinner menus featuring Cantonese favourites

21st August 2019 – (Hong Kong) Housed in H Queen’s – Hong Kong’s newest art and dining hub, Ding’s Club applies a modern approach to traditional Cantonese cuisine by celebrity Chef Steve Lee Ka Ding and Chef Li Cheung. Together, the pair have created an innovative menu that pushes the boundaries of Cantonese fine dining in an interior resembling a classic Chinese quadrangle with luxurious and contemporary twists.

This month, Ding’s Club is celebrating its first anniversary and to mark the occasion, the restaurant has launched a new lunch and dinner menu, offering expertly cooked Cantonese dishes with unique and exquisite touches. 

Perfect for diners in need of a relaxing afternoon tea style lunch or those who want a taste of lots of signature dishes, the Holiday Lunch Set For Two features dishes such as Barbecued Pluma Pork – succulent pork belly marinated for at least five hours then roasted and glazed in melted malt sugar, then broiled for five more minutes to create mouthwateringly tender pork. Other dishes include the indulgent and creamy Foie Gras Marinated with Fermented Rice, in which the Foie Gras absorbs all flavors of a secret recipe wine sauce for three hours and the crunchy yet moist Deep-fried Scallop Stuffed with Pear and Shrimp Mousse.

Ding’s Club Shunde Set Dinner

Shunde – a district of the city of Foshan in Guangdong province – is famed for its agriculture, fishing and silk farming, as well as its cuisine that’s renowned for its freshness and unique flavours. Chef Li Cheung and Lee Ka Ding have created a dinner menu that preserves the art of traditional Shunde cuisine using the best quality local ingredients.

Dishes include renowned Shunde dish Jun’an Steamed Pork – a rarity in Hong Kong. Pork belly is marinated in a special Shunde wine and seasoning for at least three hours, then steamed for just under an hour before it is sliced and topped with crunchy fried sesame seeds before serving.

The Braised Goose Fillet on Flat Rice Noodles is made specially for the Shunde menu, which requires various preparation techniques. As the goose roasts, Chef constantly coats it in a secret sauce for over three hours. The result is a rich and tender fillet, which is then sliced and steamed on top of flat rice noodles which absorb the mouth-watering flavours of the goose.


HK$4,888 Ding’s Club Shunde Set Dinner for six (included 10% service charge) promotion is available throughout September. Original price is HKD$888 per person for minimum six pax.
