Dimsumdaily Recipe: Iberico ham with assorted fruits and nuts platter


This entree platter will definitely tantalise the tastebuds of your friends if you have them over for dinner. We have enhanced the usual Parma Ham with melon recipe and created our version of pairing Iberico ham with assorted fruits instead.


To prepare, cut melon into rectangular shapes, halve grapes into 4 sides. Shred Iberico ham into bite size and sandwich them in between two pieces of melon. Dice a red onion into thin slices and chop some chilli. On top of each them, spread some sour cream before garnishing with dill and salmon fish roe. Arrange them carefully on a round dish before sprinkling the diced chilli over. Carefully spread some blueberries, grapes, olives, onion, Macadamia nuts or any other nuts over the platter. Drizzle with olive oil, season with black pepper and sprinkle some chia seeds over to finish off.

1 melon, assorted nuts, 3 slices of Iberico ham or Parma ham, 10 olives, 10 blueberries, half onion, a handful of seedless grapes, 1 chilli, extra virgin olive oil, black pepper, chia seeds, dill, salmon fish roe, sour cream.
