Dimsumdaily Recipe: Cabbage wraps with fish fillet, salami and assorted greens

These open-top cabbage wraps are suitable as party food or you can simply serve them as starter before your dinner.

Simply remove the leaves of the cabbage and place them on a dish. Add some salad greens as the base for each cabbage leaf. Drizzle some olive oil over them and season with salt. Dice a few slices of salami and mix them with the salad greens inside each cabbage leaf.

Boil some red lentils For lentils, cook using 3 cups of liquid (water, stock, etc) to 1 cup of dry lentils. Be sure to use a large enough saucepan as the lentils will double or triple in size. Stir the cooked lentils into the salad greens.

Pan fry any white fish fillet i.e. haddock or white cod for around 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper and squeeze some lemon juice over when it’s cooked. Slice the fish into bite-size so that you can fit them into the cabbage.

Finally, shred some string cheese over each cabbage leaf, spoon some cottage cheese on top and garnish with black carviar, sliced radish and dill. Season with black pepper and serve.
