24th November 2022 – (Hong Kong) The Hospital Authority spokesperson said today that the Deputising Cluster Chief Executive of the New Territories East Cluster (NTEC), Dr Sin Ngai-chuen, has tested positive for COVID-19. He is undergoing isolation in accordance with the guidelines of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health.
Dr Sin last performed duties yesterday. He wore masks and followed relevant infection control measures at work, including conducting daily rapid antigen testing. He has no recent travel history.
The NTEC will conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection operations at the office concerned and will continue to implement disease prevention measures vigorously.
