Denny Ho appointed as District Officer (Kwun Tong) to succeed Andy Lam

2nd October 2023 – (Hong Kong) In a significant administrative change, Mr Denny Ho is set to assume the position of District Officer (Kwun Tong) on 3rd October, succeeding Mr Andy Lam.

Mr Ho brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having joined the Administrative Service in 2009. Throughout his career, he has held various positions within the government, including roles in the Home Affairs Department and the former Transport and Housing Bureau.

Prior to his appointment as District Officer (Kwun Tong), Mr Ho served as the Principal Assistant Secretary (Treasury) at the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. His extensive background in treasury matters equips him with valuable insights into financial management and governance.

As District Officer (Kwun Tong), Mr Ho will assume responsibility for overseeing the administrative affairs of the Kwun Tong district, coordinating with government departments, and engaging with the local community. The role of a District Officer is crucial in maintaining efficient governance and ensuring the well-being of the residents within the district.
