30th May 2023 – (Hong Kong) South Korean boy band CRAVITY has announced its first world tour and will be coming to Hong Kong on 29th July for the “2023 CRAVITY THE 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘MASTERPIECE’ IN HONG KONG” show. The concert will take place at the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre ROTUNDA 3, and tickets are priced at HK$1,480 and HK$880.
CRAVITY, composed of nine members, debuted in 2020 with their extended play Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are, and won several awards, including “New Artist of the Year” at the 12th Melon Music Awards, “Best of Next” at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, and “Rookie Award” in the 4th Soribada Awards. The group was dubbed as “Monster Rookies” and became the first 2020 rookie artist to debut on the Billboard K-pop Hot 100.
The upcoming Hong Kong concert is a significant event for CRAVITY, as it marks the group’s first visit to the city. The group’s leader Serim expressed gratitude to fans for their support over the past three years and said he was excited to perform in Hong Kong.
During the concert, CRAVITY will perform songs from their latest mini-album, Master: Piece, featuring the title track “Groovy.” The group successfully wrapped up their two-day “2023 Dear My Luvity Fan-Con” in February, which was held at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul.
CRAVITY’s world tour, entitled “2023 CRAVITY The 1st World Tour ‘Masterpiece’,” kicked off in Seoul with concerts on 13th and 14th May. The tour will take the group to various cities around the world, including Tokyo, Osaka, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Manila, before concluding in Taipei on 27th November.
The Hong Kong concert is expected to be an exciting and interactive experience for fans, who will have the chance to participate in a farewell segment and a group photo with CRAVITY. The band’s popularity has been skyrocketing since their debut, and their international fan base continues to grow rapidly.
