14th October 2021 – (Hong Kong) The M+ Museum in West Kowloon Cultural District will open on 12th November. Today (14th) the countdown phase will commence. The LED display system on the south curtain wall of the building shows the count down clock.
The LED display system on the M+ curtain wall measures 65.8 meters high and 110 meters wide and it will be launched every night from 6am to 11pm, to display the contents and information of the museum, collection images, specially commissioned artworks, and other M+ related content. From 6pm to 7pm, the curtain wall will display the M+ logo and brand messages. From 7pm to 10pm, the animated brand message and M+ commissioned by French artist Vincent Broquaire will be displayed. From 10pm to 11pm, the M+ logo will be displayed. During this period, every 30 minutes, an opening countdown will be displayed.
