14th September 2019 – (Hong Kong) Pro-Beijing supporters started to wave Chinese National Flags and sang the national anthem this afternoon before a group of men clad in black appeared and engaged in a feud at Amoy Plaza, Kowloon Bay. Both parties started to exchange blows before riot police arrived. At least 2 youths and 2 middle-aged men were arrested by riot police.
At around 3.30pm, riot police arrested another 2 men after yellow flag was hoisted and pepper spray deployed. Many civilians condemned police for allowing pro-Beijing supporters to attack men clad in black as they described the arrests by police as selective prosecution.
At around 4.45pm, riot police started to leave in police vehicles Ngau Tau Kok Road while many civilians pursued from behind. There were several civilians who were injured while paramedics attended to them.
Meanwhile, a man claimed that his son had gone downstairs to buy lunch and shop, but he saw him being pressed on the floor by the Police through news live-stream. He went downstairs to check what happened but he was blocked by riot police.
